How these prices are worked out
- Published prices only. Each figure comes from the airfield’s own published pricing, with the date it was last checked. It is not a live feed, so confirm with the airfield before planning a fuel stop around it.
- VAT included. Where an airfield publishes an ex-VAT price we add the VAT charged at the till: 20% on avgas, UL91 and mogas, and 5% on Jet A1 for GA-sized uplifts under 2,300 litres. The original ex-VAT figure is shown underneath.
- Ranked on price only. # is the price rank within the current view (1 = cheapest). “vs median” compares against the UK-wide median for that fuel.
- No price, no rank. Airfields that sell fuel but don’t publish a price are shown with a dash at the bottom of the list and left out of every average.
- Discounts not included. Based-aircraft, club-member and fuel card discounts vary. See how UK airfields take payment for fuel.
Missing or out-of-date prices
Prices come from each airfield’s own published rates. If one here is out of date or missing, send what you paid: reports are checked by hand and shown on the airfield’s page, separate from the published price.
