Privacy

We collect the minimum needed to run the site: aggregate search and page-view counts kept on our own server (no cookies) to decide which airfields to research next, and the details you submit yourself through the Report a Price, Claim Airfield or Contact forms, used only to review and respond to that submission.

Cookies

The first time you visit, a banner asks whether to allow Google Analytics and Google AdSense cookies. Until you accept, both are told not to store anything. The choice is kept in one first-party cookie, cookie_consent, for a year; use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change it. Rejecting does not change what the site shows.

If you sign in, a session cookie (airfield_atlas_session) keeps you signed in. It is needed for the account to work and is not used for anything else.

Advertising

Some pages carry Google AdSense advertising. If you accept cookies, Google and its partners may use them to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. If you reject, the ads you see do not use cookies for that. You can also opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Links that earn a commission

Links marked “sponsored” (eBay listings in the headset guide, and partner offers) may set a cookie on the destination site so that a purchase can be credited to Airfield Atlas. Prices shown here are the same whether or not a link earns a commission.

Your data

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t share submitted email addresses beyond what’s needed to verify an airfield operator claim.
